‘Param Sundari bada gaana hai,’ quips Kriti Sanon and team Mimi in a BTS video as they are floored by AR Rahman’s tunes

Every actor has a certain set of artists they deeply admire and want to work with; A. R. Rahman is one such name. The maestro always moulds soul stirring music for his movies. It thus comes as no surprise that seeing Rahman in action was one of Kriti Sanon’s biggest wishes. Little did she know that her upcoming film Mimi would fulfill this long cherished desire!

Mimi marks A. R. Rahman’s maiden collaboration on a Kriti Sanon starrer. The makers have now released a behind the scenes video of the song Param Sundari, where a visibly awestruck Kriti shares how if felt working with the master himself. “This is the first time that Rahman sir has done music for any of my films, and it is evident why he is the god of music”, says the Luka Chuppi actress. She also adds, “Param Sundari is the only time that we see Mimi is a gifted dancer and has all the talents to become an actress”.

May it be co-star Pankaj Tripathi or director Laxman Utekar, everyone was swayed by the Rahman mania as they shower praises on him in the video. If online reactions to Param Sundari are anything to go by, it’s not just team Mimi but all of India that has fallen in love with Rahman all over again.
