On January 24, PeepingMoon.com had exclusively informed its readers that Vijay Sethupathi and Raashii Khanna will be starring with Shahid Kapoor in Raj & DK's Amazon Prime Video web show, Sunny. The thriller went on floors with Shahid and now, Vijay has joined the team on the set. 

Directors Raj & DK shared a picture with Vijay on Instagram. The caption read: "Makkal Selvan in da house!" Raashii, who is collaborating with Vijay for the third time, welcomed him by sharing a selfie on Twitter. She wrote, "Collaborating with my favourite human/actor for the third time, this time in Hindi..! Welcome to our set @VijaySethuOffl sir @rajndk @shahidkapoor"
