Helmet, starring Aparshakti Khurana, Pranutan Bahl, Abhishek Banerjee and Ashish Verma, is a much-awaited social comedy film that highlights one of the most pertaining issues in our society - the resistance of people to buy condoms, albeit in a non-preachy and entertaining manner. Premiering on ZEE5 on September 3, Helmet is produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and actor Dino Morea’s DM Movies and directed by Satramm Ramani with screenplay & dialogues by Rohan Shankar.
After the grand success of the trailer launch, the makers have now released the entire audio album (Zee Music) and the video of Band Baj Gaya. Helmet’s audio album has 5 songs – starting with Band Baj Gaya, a peppy track sung by Tony Kakkar and Vibhor Parashar and the music and lyrics are by Tony Kakkar. The video for this song is out now.
Doli, an upbeat wedding song sung by Brijesh Shandilya, music by Tanishk – Vayu and lyrics by Vayu. There is also Barbaad, an emotional and melodious Punjabi track sung by Goldboy and Shipra Goyal and music and lyrics by Nirmaan. Lastly, there is Mauka Mauka, the theme song of the film with a catchy track, which is sung by Shubham Shirule, music is by Shubham Shirule and Ana Rehman for JAM8 and lyrics are by Shloke Lal.
The film is a hilarious exploration of small-town naivety and offers insight into a milieu where even accessing a birth-control device is wrought with multiple social challenges and psychological hang-ups. The makers released the trailer last week which received flying reviews and the fans can’t wait for this quirky and funny ride with ‘Helmet’ - the first Indian film on a birth-control device.
