Netflix Tudum: Sneak-peek into Kartik Aaryan's Dhamaka, Sanya Malhotra-Abhimanyu Dassani's Meenakshi Sundareshwar, Mithila Palkar-Dhruv Sehgal's Little Things 4 and more titles

On Saturday evening, Netflix got fans across the globe together for the first Tudum event. During the three-hour-long virtual livestream event, more than 70 original series and 28 films were announced for the audience to block their calendars. The streaming giant announced shows and films produced in India in a segment titled Tudum: India Spotlight. From sharing first looks to giving insights into what's in store for fans, Netflix assured that their upcoming releases will be worth the wait. 

During the first Tudum event, Netflix dropped in the mood promo of Kartik Aaryan's upcoming thriller Dhamaka. The film is directed by Ram Madhvani and revolves around a newsroom anchor named Arjun Pathak. Based on the South Korean film, The Terror Live, Dhamaka also stars Mrunal Thakur, Amruta Subhash, Vikas Kumar and others. The trailer is expected to release soon.

On the other hand, Netflix shared the trailer of Mithila Palkar and Dhruv Sehgal's Little Things Season 4. After clearing several obstacles in their relationship, Dhruv and Kavya, in the final season, are planning to take the next step together. From exploring future possibilities to their evolution as a couple, Dhruv and Kavya are on a complicated journey.   

Abhimanyu Dassani and Sanya Malhotra have united for Karan Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment's film titled Meenakshi Sundareshwar. Directed by Vivek Soni, the film will directly stream on Netflix. During the Tudum event, the OTT giant shared a song that showcased how long-distance relationships feel. The characters Meenakshi and Sundareshwar are in a long-distance relationship and the film will highlight their journey.  

In Shashanka Ghosh's Plan A Plan B, Riteish Deshmukh and Tamannaah Bhatia are on a different kind of romantic date. The former plays a divorce lawyer whereas the latter is a matchmaker. As they say- 'Opposites Attract', Riteish and Tamannaah's upcoming project seems to be a perfect and entertaining watch.
