Netflix has dropped the official trailer for the upcoming holiday rom-com Love Hard starring Nina Dobrev in the lead. Nina plays Natalie, who flies across the country to meet her prospective boyfriend Darren Barnet whom she met on a dating app, only to find out that she has been catfished by his childhood friend Jimmy O Yang.
Love Hard’s trailer shows us Natalie, a journalist who is dissatisfied with modern online dating but decides to try her luck and visit her online beau in New York during the Christmas holidays, only to come to face-to-face with lies and deceit by the real Josh, played by Yang. However, to make it up to her, Josh helps to set up Natalie with Tag, the man she thought she had been chatting with, who happens to live in the same town and is Josh’s childhood friend.
Don’t get catfished this holiday season.
