Netflix has released the first full trailer for season two of The Witcher Season 2 starring Henry Cavill in the lead. The clip sees Cavill’s Geralt fighting plenty of monsters like vampires, gargoyles and even a leshen and trying to make the continent fit for habitation. The trailer also shows a war between Nilfgaard and the Northern Kingdoms, Ciri’s training at Kaer Morhen and the return of Jaskier.
The trailer promises the continuation of its three main leads- Yennefer (Anya Chalotra) and Ciri (Freya Allen) apart from Geralt. The trailer of The Witcher Season 2 also shows new characters in the form of Geralt’s mentor Vesemir (Kim Bodnia) and Nivellen (Kristofer Hivju).

Picking up from where the first season left off, Geralt and Ciri reunite and battle the dread forest spirit Leshen in the trailer as well as other deadlier antagonists.
The Witcher Season 2 will stream on Netflix from December 17, 2021.
