Dhamaka: Kartik Aaryan’s Khoya Paaya song brings out the pathos of a life not lived with zest

After a superhit trailer, the first song from Dhamaka was unveiled recently and it's an inspirational song titled Khoya Paaya, starring Kartik Aaryan. The song video sees Kartik in a black-and-white avatar, where he is seen doing all the talking with his eyes. He has nailed it with his expressions and much needed intense vibe in the song that talks about the pathos of a life lived without zest and exuberance.

One of the best and most inspiring compositions, of this year, Khoya Paaya is composed, produced and arranged by Vishal Khurana. Amit Trivedi and Delraaz Bunshah have sung the song while the lyrics are penned by Puneet Sharma. Interestingly it's Bejoy Nambiar who has directed the track while Ravi Varman has shot it.

With 'Dhamakedaar' scenes and dialogues combined with hard hitting and inspiring song too now, Kartik Aaryan is all set to shine in the film by the looks of it. The actor will be seen as a news reporter in the film and with this he is attempting something he hasn’t done before. Taking to his Instagram, Kartik shared, "Khoya Paaya tune kya..Jeena tha tab jeeya nahi Ab jeene ki vinti kare..”

Kartik recently shared how Arjun’s character is the most difficult one that he has played so far. Talking to a publication he said, "Dhamaka is the most challenging film of my career so far, and Arjun Pathak is the most difficult character I have played. In reality, I'm a very high-spirited person, so when I did a few of my previous films, which were in the rom-com space, I felt slightly more comfortable. However, Dhamaka pushed me to expand my boundaries as an actor. I play the role of a journalist, so my prep had definitely increased and was more detailed. I studied the lives of news reporters and watched various documentaries for a better understanding. It was also during the lockdown, so that gave me the time to get into this character deeply. Arjun character is layered and intense, so I really worked to live him in every possible way."

Dhamaka will release on Netflix on 19th November.
