Trailer: Abhishek Bachchan lives the sinister life of common man turned serial killer Bob Biswas in Diya Annapurna Ghosh's film

Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment teamed up for a film based on a fictional character from Sujoy Ghosh's Kahaani named Bob Biswas. The spin-off film sheds light on the character's backstory and will explore the reason behind his sinister activities. Today, the trailer of Bob Biswas was launched on social media as it gears up for its release on ZEE5 on December 3.

The trailer of Bob Biswas introduces the character as a common man who has a wife and children. His forgetfulness might play an important role in shaping up the narrative. Bob's journey from a common man to a serial killer has been traced briefly in the trailer. Set in Kolkata, the overall vibe of the trailer is mysterious and dark.

The character of Bob Biswas debuted in Kahaani. Renowned Bengali actor Saswata Chatterjee played that part and people still remember him for making the character's trademark line "Nomoshkar, Ek minute” popular. 

Bob Biswas is directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh. Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment along with Sujoy Ghosh’s Bound Script Production has bankrolled the project. Chitrangada Singh will be seen in a pivotal role.
