Due to the pandemic, we witnessed a sudden surge in demand for web series and films. Platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, SonyLIV, Disney+Hotstar, MX Player, Voot Select and many others became the primary sources of entertainment. Amid this, Filmfare launched the latest set of awards that honoured web shows and films. After a super successful first year of the Filmfare OTT Awards, the second edition took place on Thursday in Mumbai. 

Hansal Mehta's Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story starring Pratik Gandhi led the awards with maximum trophies. Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's spy-thriller The Family Man 2 was also a popular choice and received top honours.
