The year has been eventful for the entertainment industry. While we saw some fantastic shows and films on OTT, the Government announced the reopening of theatres. The audience got to enjoy the content of all genres. Now, as 2022 is just a few weeks away, IMDb unveiled the 10 films and shows that were most popular with IMDb users in India this year. The list was based on all the films and web shows released between January 1 and November 29, 2021.
According to IMDb, Aspirants topped the list of Top 10 Web Shows. Bhuvan Bam's YouTube series Dhindora came second whereas Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's The Family Man 2 secured the third position. The Last Hour, Sunflower, Candy, Ray, Grahan, November Story and Mumbai Diaries 26/11 also featured in the list.
Suriya's Jai Bhim secured the first position on IMDb's Top 10 list. Sidharth Malhotra-Kiara Advani's Shershaah and Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif's Sooryavanshi came second and third respectively. Vijay's Master, Vicky Kaushal's Sardar Udham, Kriti Sanon's Mimi, Sunny Kaushal-Radhika Madan's Shiddat and Taapsee Pannu-Vikrant Massey's Haseen Dillruba were among the top 10 films of the year.
