On Valentine’s Day, Netflix dropped the brand new teaser trailer of the second season of its immensely popular show Bridgerton. The one-minute teaser trailer gives a glimpse of what is in store for the audience in Bridgeton 2 and also shows Nicola Coughlan penning her gossip column under the name of Lady Whistledown.
Bridgerton 2 centers around the eldest son of the Bridgerton family, Anthony Bridgerton (played by Jonathan Bailey) trying to find a suitable bride for himself. The second season will see him cross paths with Kate Sharma, played by Simone Ashley. The teaser shows Anthony bestowing his attentions on Kate’s sister Edwina (played by Charithra Chandran) and attempts to thwart his attempts as true love does not figure very highly in his intentions. However, in doing so, their verbal sparring matches bring them closer complicating things on both sides.
