Karanvir Bohra is currently one of the inmates of Ekta Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut's reality show Lock Upp. Before this, the actor had participated in Bigg Boss 12 and he was declared the fourth runner up of the show. During a recent episode of Lock Upp, the contestants had to discuss mental health, emotional well-being and reveal the darkest secrets of their lives. Karanvir got emotional and broke down while talking about his wife Teejay Sidhu's miscarriage before the birth of their third daughter.
"Before Gia, we lost a baby during Covid. We were so scared to not tell anyone about it because we didn't want people to say 'Arre yaar ye kya hogaya, kaise hogaya, kyu hogaya'. Maybe to protect ourselves we didn't want to say. We had to lie from our own family, from our own relatives. When we talk about mental health issues come from home only. They start from home, because ghar waale kuch bolte hain, maybe they don't mean it, they speak out of concern," Karanvir shared.
He further added, "Her family does not know, my family does not know. At that point, we felt we lost emotional well-being, mental health. Start from your own house mental health. It is ok to be a bipolar, transwoman or lose things in life, to be older. It is just ok to be alive."
Karanvir and Teejay are blessed with three beautiful daughters. They embraced parenthood in October 2016 with the arrival of their twin daughters whom they named Raya Bella Bohra and Vienna Bohra. In December 2020, they welcomed their third daughter named Gia Vanessa Snow Bohra.
