Bridgerton season 2 to feature 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' title track along with covers by Rihanna, Harry Styles & Nirvana

Bridgerton season 2 is all set to premiere on the OTT giant Netflix on March 25. Ahead of its release, the makers of the show are leaving no stone unturned to promote the show. Now, it appears that the creators have also added a Bollywood song to the tracklist of the series which has doubled the excitement of all Indian fans who were waiting with baited breath for the next season. Not only this but a number of international artists like Rihanna and Harry Styles have come together for the second season's music album.

Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Shawn Mendes, Ariana Grande, and more got the Bridgerton “remix” treatment during season 1 and season 2 has definitely more in store. On March 4, Netflix’s Tudum unveiled the list of remixed songs that will be a part of Bridgerton’s sophomore season. Kicking off the list are hits like Nirvana’s 1991 track Stay Away, Madonna’s Material Girl, and Rihanna’s heartfelt Diamonds, off of her 2012 album Unapologetic. Swedish musician Robyn’s Dancing on My Own and Alanis Morissette’s You Oughta Know from her third studio album Jagged Little Pill will also be included in the Bridgerton season 2 soundtrack.

And guess what? Bollywood music will also make its debut in the widely loved show as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham title track by Lata Mangeshkar has also made the cut. Next up is Harry Styles' Sign of the Times, which was actually the hardest track to acquire this season. “That one was a pretty difficult clearance. That one took the longest to get everyone to sign off on. I think everyone will really love it,” the series’ music supervisor Justin Kamps told Tudum. “When Harry Styles’ team signed off, I was very excited about that because I was just like, ‘This is just a beautiful use.’ So even though it wasn’t a direct, ‘We love this,’ it felt like, ‘Ah, yes, they approved this, they’re giving their approval. They enjoy the sequence.' And now, I can’t wait for all the fans to see it.”

Rounding off the list are P!nk’s What About Us, Calvin Harris and Disciples’ 2016 banger How Deep Is Your Love, and Miley Cyrus' memorable 2013 ballad Wrecking Ball.
