Bridgerton season 2 is all set to premiere on the OTT giant Netflix on March 25. Ahead of its release, the makers of the show are leaving no stone unturned to promote the show. Now, the makers of the show of released an exciting trailer of its second season and well, fans cannot contain their excitement seeing their old favourite characters along with compelling new additions.
The trailer begins with Jonathan Bailey aka Lord Anthony looking forward to getting married and searching for his bride. However, duty, desire and scandal collide when Viscount Anthony Bridgerton decides to marry, only to meet his match in his intended bride Charithra Chandran aka Ediwna Sharma headstrong big sister Simone Ashley aka Kate Sharma.
Season 2 keeps up the diversity quotient that viewers first encountered In Season 1, where the male lead, Simon Bassett, Duke of Hastings, was played by the British actor, Rene-Jean Page, whose mother is from Zimbabwe, where he spent much of his childhood, and his father is an English preacher. Season 2, however, will be more focused on Lord Anthony and his love life. Rene-Jean Page is no longer a part of the show.
Witness what happens when duty is in conflict with the heart's true desire. There is potential for a considerable scandal, indeed. Bridgerton Season 2 premieres March 25, only on Netflix.
