The Sandman chronicles the escapades of Morpheus, one of the seven eternal brothers in charge of reality. As the King of the Nightmare Realms, Dream has the responsibility to enable humanity to dream, not only when they are asleep but also when they are awake so that they can make a better future. He also brings on nightmares to punish mortals who anger Morpheus.
The Sandman season 1, which has a 12-episode order, will premiere on Friday, August 5 on Netflix.
