Koffee With Karan 7: Samantha Ruth Prabhu reveals situation with ex-husband Naga Chaitanya isn't amicable, says 'If you put us in a room, you have to hide sharp objects'

For the first time, Samantha Ruth Prabhu addressed her separation from Naga Chaitanya on the third episode of Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan 7. Talking about dealing with trolls after ending her 4 years long marriage with her partner, the actress said she chose to be transparent about her life and cannot complain about it. She further shared that though it was hard, she came out of it 'better than ok'.

"I chose to be transparent to reveal a lot of my life and when the separation happened, I couldn't be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to answer them which I didn't have at that time. I think I came out of it ok. I read this beautiful line which Matthew McCaughey wrote. He said, "In the art of life, I haven't scored all A's. But I'd rather take an experienced C over an ignorant A any day." I think I haven't scored all A's but it is fine," Samantha told Karan.

She spoke about how life changed after the separation. "Life has been hard but it is good now. I am stronger than I have ever been," the actress added. When asked whether there are any hard feelings between the former couple, Samantha shared, "If you put up both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects. Yeah, as of now, yes."

Samantha and Chaitanya announced their separation in October last year. The news came just a few days before their 4th wedding anniversary.
