Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya's separation gave birth to countless fake stories and rumours. One of them claimed that the actress demanded Rs. 250 crores in alimony from her ex-husband. Now, Samantha reacted to the rumour in the third episode of Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan 7.
When Karan asked her about the 'worst thing' she read about herself, Samantha said, "I took Rs 250 crore in alimony. Every morning I woke up, waiting for the Income Tax officials to come and show them, tada, there's nothing."

Karan was shocked on hearing this. She further reacted, "They made up stories about alimony of Rs 250 crore. Then they realised it was not a believable story. They said it was a prenup and she can't ask for alimony."
In the episode, Samantha opened up about life after the separation. She stated that the situation between her and Chaitanya isn't amicable. She told, "If you put up both in a room, you have to hide sharp objects."
