Sushmita Sen is back in the showbiz and how! After a decade-long sabbatical, the actress has returned to acting with some of the biggest and most exciting projects. While she is yet to step into the shoes of Aarya once again, Sushmita signed her next web series.
As revealed exclusively by PeepingMoon on October 1, Sushmita will be headlining Voot Select's show based on the life of popular transgender activist, Gauri Sawant. Today, the actress unveiled her first look from the show titled Taali.
Sharing her first look on social media, Sushmita wrote, "Nothing makes me prouder & more grateful than to have the privilege of portraying this beautiful person & of bringing her story to the world!! Here’s to life & to everyone’s right to live it with dignity!!! I love you guys!!! #duggadugga "
Directed by Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav, the show has gone into production in Pune. She is expected to finish this series by the end of November.
