Marvel has announced a documentary on Stan Lee on his 100th birth anniversary on Decemeber 28, 2022. The documentary on the legendary creator who co-created several iconic superheroes like Spider-Man, the X-Men, Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk, Ant-Man, the Wasp, the Fantastic Four, Black Panther, Daredevil, Doctor Strange, the Scarlet Witch, and Black Widow and will be released next year in 2023.
Taking to social media, Marvel shared a short teaser simply titled Stan Lee. The post was captioned, “100 years of dreaming. 100 years of creating. 100 years of Stan Lee.” The documentary will release exclusively on Disney+ and will stream sometime in 2023. Lee passed away on November 12, 2018 at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles at the age of 95.

In the released video we get to see a montage of clips from Marvel films where Lee appeared in a cameo and guest appearances. Several celebs including Dwayne Johnson, James Gunn, Kevin Smith and fans expressed their happiness and excitement for the documentary and remembered the legend on his 100th birthday.

Lee developed several iconic characters and worked with writer-artists like Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko. He maintained his relationship with Marvel even after leaving the company in the 1990s by serving as an executive producer on several films and gave legendary and iconic cameos in films.
