The teaser trailer for season three of Only Murders in the Building is out and it reveals the first look at Meryl Streep’s character in the show. The multiple Oscar-winner was announced as part of the cast in January this year. She joins the original cast members Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Nathan Lane, Aaron Dominguez, and Amy Ryan who have been a part of seasons one and two. Paul Rudd, who joined the cast in season 2 will also be a part of Only Murders in the Building Season 3.
Details of Meryl’s role are under wraps but the teaser shows her at a table reading session for Oliver Putnam’s (Martin Short) new Broadway play. The barely 30-second clip shows Meryl saying, “Oh my god, it’s me!” Meryl says between spells of sheepish laughter, “Oh, I’m so sorry. It’s me, isn’t it," while also showcasing the final moments of season two when Paul Rudd's Ben Glenroy was found dead on stage of Oliver's play.
