The Crown Season 6 is currently filming in St Andrews, Scotland and is set to feature Ed McVey and Meg Bellamy as college-going Prince William and Kate Middleton. The couple met in 2001 while studying at the University of St Andrews. A picture from the sets of the show has gone viral showing the two actors playing the royal couple on March 17, which appears to be set around a potential meet-cute situation.
Prince William is the heir apparent of the British monarchy and his relationship with Kate, their courtship and subsequent marriage has been eagerly followed by the tabloids. They were engaged in November 2010 and married on April 29, 2011 at Westminster Abbey. They have three children- Prince George of Wales, Princess Charlotte of Wales and Prince Louis of Wales.

The final season of The Crown went on floors in September 2022 and is eyeing for a release date later this year or early next year. The popular Netflix show also stars Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret and Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, all of them will be reprising their roles from previous seasons. Elizabeth Debicki will also reprise her role as Diana, Princess of Wales for this season.
Season 6 of The Crown will take off from where season 5 ended as in when Princess Diana was invited to a holiday in St Tropez with Mohamed Al-Fayed in 1997. Season 6 will follow the succeeding years after her death in the infamous car crash alongside her boyfriend Dodi Fayed. However, it is reported that the series will not show the moment of death but will include the leadup and aftermath and will handle it sensitively.
Prince William has been under fire after his younger brother, Prince Harry, revealed in his autobiography, Spare that he attacked him after insulting his wife Meghan Markle.
