The Game of Thrones prequel based on George RR Martin’s Dunk and Egg books is officially in the works at HBO; an announcement video was unveiled revealing the title - A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight.
The show is based on the series of fantasy novellas by Martin, which follow the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and a young Aegon V Targaryen (Egg), 90 years prior to the events of A Song of Ice and Fire.
A century before @GameofThrones, there was Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire, Egg.

The series is executive produced by George R. R. Martin, Ira Parker, Ryan Condal, and Vince Gerardis and will stream on combined HBO Max and Discovery+ streaming service known simply as Max.
