After the humongous success of Asur in 2020, the series got renewed for a second season which will take the story forward. Headlined by Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani, Asur 2 will be streaming for free on Jio Cinema from June 1. Ahead of the release, the makers dropped in the trailer today.

The trailer marks the return of Dhananjay (Arshad) and Nikhil (Barun). This time, they have a bigger challenge to overcome as Shubh is on the run and the world is in danger. Jio Cinema shared the trailer on social media and wrote, "Mahayudh nikat hai. Kalyug ko uske charam seema tak pahunchane ka samay aa gaya hai. Asur aa gaya hai. India's biggest mythological thriller is back. #Asur2 trailer out now! #Asur2OnJioCinema streaming free, 1 June onwards."

Asur 2 also stars Ridhi Dogra, Anupriya Goenka, Amey Wagh, Meiyang Chang and Gaurav Arora.
