Yet to come out of Asur 2's hangover? Well, Barun Sobti and Ridhi Dogra have already moved on and are here with yet another interesting web series. Titled Badtameez Dil, the show will release on Amazon miniTV on June 9. The trailer of the series premiered today on social media. 

The trailer of Badtameez Dil brings the unique love story of Karan (Barun Sobti) and Liz (Ridhi Dogra) into the limelight. They're two headstrong individuals holding different ideologies about romance and love. While Liz believes in magic, Karan seeks logic. When the two meet, they make for an unconventional pair. 

Badtameez Dil, formerly titled A Cold Mess, is a visually stunning and classy show with good-looking actors. The trailer refrains from giving out any plot detail and hence, the series could draw the audience for an unexpected ride. The locations shown in the 1 minute 31 seconds trailer are exotic and captivating. This adds more flavour to the love story. Set in London, Badtameez Dil is a modern-day take on 'opposites attract'. 

The USP of Badtameez Dil's trailer is Barun and Ridhi's chemistry. Be it their bickering, friendship or the blossoming of love, they are a delight to watch. Barun returns to the romantic genre after a while and his fans are certainly in for a surprise. Ridhi comes across fantastically as a vulnerable Liz whose heart is torn apart due to her one-sided love for Karan. Her emotional outbreaks are executed beautifully.

Badtameez Dil's trailer promises that the series will be home to soul-stirring music as it takes the audience through the journeys of Karan and Liz. However, despite the cuteness and brightness of the show, the déjà vu cannot be ignored. The plotline, as far as the trailer is concerned, doesn't seem new. The background score feels similar to many other new-age romantic dramas. While the vibe is fresh, the story might suffer from predictability. We hope the makers surprise us with something unique. 

Badtameez Dil seems to be a perfect warm and cosy watch with your beloved people. Barun and Ridhi could simply captivate the audience with their likeable chemistry and great on-screen presence.
