After a super successful maiden season, Bigg Boss OTT has been renewed for the second installment. Salman Khan will be hosting the show this time. The premiere episode aired on Saturday on JioCinema for free. The show will be streaming live 24x7 on the OTT platform. 

The format of Bigg Boss OTT underwent some modifications. The contestants will be given BB coins which will enable them to purchase amenities like a bed of their choice. While 12 participants of the reality show were announced, the 13th celebrity remained a mystery. 

The first participant to enter Bigg Boss OTT 2 was Falaq Naaz, who spoke about the ordeal she and her family had to go through when her brother, actor Sheezan Khan, was arrested in December 2022. He was taken into custody after his co-star and girlfriend Tunisha Sharma committed suicide.

Jiya Shankar and Abhishek Malhan were the next housemates. However, their journey began on a bitter-sweet note. Akanksha Puri became the 4th contestant, however, she was made to wait for quite some time.

Aaliya Siddiqui spoke about Nawzuddin Siddiqui and their relationship. Bebika Dhurve, the daughter of famous face reader Pandit Janardhan, entered the house with Aaliya. Ex-couple Avinash Sachdev and Palak Purswani were on the stage together but the vibe they shared wasn't cordial. Salman slammed Palak for leaking the news of her participation and asking her friends to vote for her. Puneet Superstar clearly annoyed Salman with his nonstop talking. Pooja Bhatt, who came in as a panellist, became the 13th contestant. It was a surprise.

The premiere episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2 had minor fights between Avinash and Abhishek over Pooja's popularity. The episode ended on a weird note. Puneet applied toothpaste on his face and poured handwash on his hair.
