Showtime is helmed by Emraan Hashmi, Mahima Makwana with Mouni Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Shriya Saran, Vishal Vashishtha, Neeraj Madhav, Vijay Raaz and Naseeruddin Shah in pivotal roles and is set to release on 8th March, exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.

Anand Bhaskar has composed Bombae, Lucky Lover, Mahroo and Haara, Bombae has been sung by *Ramya Kirtana, Lucky Lover is sung by *Nakash Aziz , Mahroo is sung by Romy, and Haara is sung by Arjun Iyer. With lyrics by Ginny Diwan, Dil Yeh Churaya has been sung by Nakash Aziz while Armaanian Rhapsody has been rapped by Rhythm V and both these songs are composed by Tallz.

Showrunner and Director Mihir Desai said, “The album launch of 'Showtime' on Disney+ Hotstar marks a unique departure from typical Bollywood soundtracks. We wanted our album to resonate differently, to avoid falling into the trap of being spoofy or derivative. That's why we chose Anand Bhaskar to helm the project. As an independent artist, he brings a fresh perspective and a deep understanding of music that transcends traditional Bollywood tunes. Anand's sufi track 'Mahroo' is a standout, blending contemporary pop/EDM with rock elements, infusing it with emotional depth. 'Haara,' featuring lyrics by Ginny Diwan, delves into the emotional journey of Mouni Roy's character, receiving a modern lo-fi treatment that resonates with today’s generation. Apart from two 90s tribute tracks one of which is by Tallz, the album steers clear of typical Bollywood tropes. Our aim was to create music that doesn't isolate audiences but instead serves as a backdrop, enhancing the emotional narrative of the story. "'BOMBAE' is another favorite, capturing the essence of Mumbai's hustle and the individual struggles within this vibrant city through its street freestyle rap.

Anand Bhaskar, the composer behind Bombae, Lucky Lover, Mahroo and Haara in the album, said “When you listen to the songs in Showtime, you'll notice a sincere effort to entertain while also highlighting each song's meaning and uniqueness. Showtime is a fusion of entertainment, and emotions – exactly what I wanted to convey through my composition and I can’t wait for audiences to catch the show on Disney+ Hotstar."

Playback singer Nikhita Gandhi said, "Class is an incredibly fun song, and collaborating with Badshah was a blast. His star power truly shines, and working with him showcases why he’s named Badshah. We are great friends, and it was so amazing to collaborate with him again and I could not have chosen any other project than Showtime’s Class. Working with Mouni for the first time was, of course, such a joy; she is stunning in the song. I'm happy to be part of Class which  is just a glimpse of what’s to come on Disney+ Hotstar."

Diesby said, “Class is groovy and as bollywood as it can get. Working with Badshah and Mouni was such a great opportunity and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m really looking forward to Showtime being released on Disney+ Hotstar with a fantastic music album.
