Prime Video today announced the global streaming premiere of the critically acclaimed biographical sports drama Maidaan. Starring Ajay Devgn alongside Priyamani and Gajraj Rao, the film is based on the true story of Syed Abdul Rahim, the architect of modern Indian football. Directed by National Award-winning director Amit Sharma, Maidaan is produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla, and features masterful compositions by the legendary A.R. Rahman. The biopic is streaming on the OTT platform from today. 

Maidaan chronicles the inspiring journey of Syed Abdul Rahim, the legendary football coach who steered the Indian National Football team to glory in the 1950s and 1960s.
