Hollywood’s sweetheart Zendaya has won our hearts over and over again with her gorgeous fashion and styling choices. Be it a MET Gala costume (remember her Cinderella moment?) or her couture for award ceremonies, we love them all. So it’s no surprise how the actress absolutely stunned us with her beautiful couture for the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards last night.
Styled by the one and only, Law Roach, the Euphoria star stole our hearts in a lovely ice blue top, a balloon-like structure with puff shoulders, and upper arms, and a black slit skirt that is a vintage YSL Haute Couture from 1982 from the stylist’s personal archive. She completed her look with a pair of ebony black heels, studded with stones, a few rings and dangly earrings. Her hair was styled in a way that a part of it was on her right shoulder, the rest flowing down her back.
The overall ensemble gave Zendaya a bright and crisp look and originally belonged to one of the most prominent and trailblazing black women in the fashion industry, the founder of Ebony Fashion Fair, Eunice W. Johnson. This was the actress’s tribute to her, a woman who changed a lot in the space of the fashion world.
Stunning as always, Zendaya dazzled the night away at the awards ceremony. Truly gorgeous, isn’t it?
