After dating each other for five years, the duo bonded in holy matrimony in presence of immediate family and close friends at the actor’s Vaastu house in Bandra.
While the celebrations might have been low-key and intimate, one cannot say the same thing about the couple's wedding trousseau! Alia and Ranbir exuded elegance as they turned into a Sabyasachi bride and groom!
Styled effortlessly by Ami Patel, Alia made for a minimalistic bride in an ivory-hued Sabya saree adorned with intricate zari detailing all over. Elevating her pastel outfit were her STUNNING piece of jewels including a heavily polki-embedded choker set, a pair of matching jhumkas and a statement matha-patti. Ditching the quintessential red Punjabi choora, the actress opted for chunky kadas to elevate the look of her minimalistic mehendi-clad hands.
On the glam front, the actress kept things fresh and subtle with a barely-there makeup ft nude lips and shimmery lids. Giving the trending floral buns a miss, Alia styled her lustrous locks in beach wave curls. That minuscule red bindi defined all things love!
Complementing his lady love, Ranbir twinned in the gold and ivory sherwani set from Sabyasachi. Opting for no fuss and jazz just like his new bride, the actor teamed his look with layered pearl necklace and a stunning brooch on his sehra. A well-groomed stubble completed his wedding look.
