It’s the first Monday of May, (well, sort of) and this calls for a fashion celebration. The MET Gala is here and our inner fashionista couldn’t be any happier. Flagged off on May 1 at 6.30 PM ET, the Oscars of Fashion witnessed an unleashed sartorial extravaganza on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Making quite an appearance is our desi girl Priyanka Chopra Jonas alongside her darling husband Nick Jonas.
Going in sync with the theme of the eve ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’, PC donned a black Valentino gown with a thigh slit so feisty, that it left us gasping. Her strapless gown was layered with a ruffled cape but what paid an opulent tribute to Karl was her statement white elbow-length glove. Those stunning jewels from Bvlgari added bling and glamour to her monochrome fit. Complementing his wife, Nick looked every bit dapper in a Valentino suit.
While the actress chose a subtle glam to go with the look, her hairstyle screamed drama!
