Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor has successfully reignited the rom-com genre. Directed by Luv Ranjan, the film has made its place in the list of highest-grossing Hindi films in the post-pandemic era. According to reports, it is the first Hindi film from the rom-com genre to cross Rs. 100 crores NBOC at the domestic box office in 3 years.
Having entered the 100-crore club on Saturday itself, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar collected Rs. 7.16 crores on its second Sunday. The India Net collections on second Saturday were Rs. 6.03 crores. The total is Rs. 109.14 crores.
Post its 12 days run, the film’s domestic gross collection stood at Rs. 131 crores(Rs. 109.14 crores NBOC) and overseas collections at Rs. 35 crores ($ 4.19 M GBOC), taking the box office gross worldwide collections to Rs. 166 crores ($ 20.25 M).
Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar is produced by Luv Films’ Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, and presented by T- Series’ Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar is running successfully in theatres.
