Sheezan Khan, the co-star and boyfriend of Tunisha Sharma, is currently in judicial custody. He was arrested after the actress' mother filed a case of abetment to suicide against him. On December 31, he was sent to 14-day judicial custody. 

Now, in the latest development, Sheezan's bail application will be heard by the court on January 7. In addition to this, the actor's lawyer said in a statement to the media that the jail authority is yet to decide whether Sheezan can get an exemption from cutting his hair while in custody. He also clarified that they have requested security to protect Sheezan from further mental torture.

After the court sent him to 14-day judicial custody, Sheezan through his lawyer filed some petitions demanding home-cooked meals, medicines, visits by family and exemption from cutting his hair. His lawyer submitted an application stating the actor is an asthma patient and requires an inhaler daily. 

Sheezan's co-star and girlfriend Tunisha died by suicide on December 24, 2022, on Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul's set.
