Ekta Kapoor has played an important role in giving big opportunities to actors in her daily soaps as well as films. In 2021, she picked Tejasswi Prakash for the sixth season of her supernatural franchise, Naagin, from the Bigg Boss 15 house. Now, almost a year later, the producer has announced the end of Naagin 6.
Confirming the same and bidding adieu to Tejasswi, Ekta wrote, "As we introduce a new folklore weekend show ….Time to say bye to my favourite show n India’s biggest folklore franchise #naagin6 ! This season marked@d comback@n found its place right with season one n three! Thanku for all d love and now for the next ….JAI MATA DI P.s to the team party zaroor hogi"
On the other hand, Ekta also confirmed entering the Bigg Boss 16 house to announce her next film and find the leading cast for the same. "Lots of love for this nagina ! Found her in d big boss house n in throes of corona n high fever n cough forced @colors n Manisha that I wanted to cast her ! Hopefully going to big boss for an exciting film announcement let’s see who we find there this time," she wrote on Instagram.
According to reports, Karan Kundrra, Reem Shaikh and Gashmeer Mahajani's Ishq Mein Ghayal will replace Naagin 6.
