After getting bail, Sheezan Khan expresses he misses Tunisha Sharma, says 'if she was alive, she would have fought for me'

Actor Sheezan Khan expressed his relief after being granted bail, 69 days after his arrest. The actor was charged with abetment to suicide in the Tunisha Sharma case. Tunisha, Sheezan’s Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul co-star and ex-girlfriend was found dead on December 24, 2022. Following her death, Tunisha’s mother hurled several accusations at Sheezan after which he was arrested. Sheezan has been released on a surety of Rs 1 lakh and told to surrender his passport to the court as part of the conditions of the bail.

Now, Sheezan has spoken to a leading daily about the entire case. Asked about Tunisha, Sheezan told, "I miss her and if she was alive, she would have fought for me.” He further talked about being back from the prison, and with his family. “Today, I understand the true meaning of freedom and I can feel it. I was in tears the moment I saw my mother and sisters and I am so happy to be back with them."

He added, "Finally, I am with my family! It’s an overwhelming feeling. All I want to do for a few days is lie in my mother’s lap, eat food cooked by her, and spend time with my sisters and brother.”

Sheezan was arrested a day after Tunisha's untimely demise on Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul's set in Vasai.
