The Amboli police, on Thursday night, arrested producer Kamal Kishor Mishra for running a car over his wife. After a complaint was filed, he was detained by the police. The incident reportedly took place on October 19 in the parking lot of his Andheri residence.
The producer has been charged with sections 279 rash driving) and 337 (causing hurt by an act endangering the life or personal safety of others) of the IPC. IPC Section 134 A and B of the Motor Vehicles Act has also been imposed on him for fleeing away from the spot without rendering help or informing the police.

Kamal's wife Yasmin Mishra filed the complaint after the incident. The producer of Dehati Disco hit her with his car after she caught him with another woman in the parking lot. As shown in a viral video, Yasmin was trying to talk to Kamal who fled away in the Mercedes car. While doing so, Yasmin's legs got stuck under the front wheels and fell down.
Despite knowing this, Kamal ran over her legs. A witness to this incident rushed to help Yasmin and pulled her out. She reportedly suffered head injuries after the incident.
Kamal has been associated with films like Bhootiyapa, Flat No. 420, Khalli Balli and Sharmaji Ki Lag Gai.
