Ajay Devgn is all set to return as Vijay Salgaonkar in Drishyam 2. After teasing the audience with “old bills” and sharing multiple updates about the film a ‘recall teaser’ was finally unveiled about the much-awaited film. The film also stars Sriya Saran, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Akshaye Khanna, Rajat Kapoor and Mrunal Jadhav and is slated to release on November 18, 2022.
Taking to social media, Ajay unveiled the recall teaser of Drishyam 2 that takes us back to Drishyam and its story of Vijay Salgaonkar and his family being embroiled in a murder mystery. The teaser takes the viewers back to the first film so that they can remember its story. However, the video ends with a glimpse from the sequel where Ajay is seen talking to the camera as he says, “Mera naam Vijay Salgaonkar hain aur ye mera confession hain."

Sharing the teaser, Ajay wrote, “Vijay aur uske parivaar ki kahaani toh yaad hogi na aapko? Ki yaad dilaye? #Drishyam2 in cinemas on 18th November, 2022 (sic)."
Drishyam 2 is directed by Abhishek Pathak who takes the reins from Nishikant Kamat after his demise. Nishikant directed the first part Drishyam. The film is the Hindi remake of Mohanlal’s Malayalam film of the same name.
