The makers of Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Akshaye Khanna and Shriya Saran’s Drishyam 2 are keeping the audience hooked to their every move. After releasing a ‘recall teaser’ now they have unveiled the first look character posters of Tabu and Akshaye.
While Tabu reprises her role of Meera M Deshmukh, Goa’s top cop in the sequel, Akshaye will be seen as a new character in Drishyam 2. In the first part, Tabu’s character Meera arrested Ajay and his family on the suspicion that they were involved in her son’s death. Tabu’s character poster was shared with the caption, “Main ek maa hoon; saat kya, saat sau saal bhi beet jaayein na toh bhi main kuch bhoolne waali nahi. #Drishyam2 Case Reopens On 18th November, 2022.”

On the other hand, Akshaye’s character poster was shared with the caption, “Dushman ko haraane ka mauka aksar dushman aapko khud deta hai #Drishyam2 Case Reopens on 18th November, 2022.”

Drishyam was the official remake of Mohanlal’s Malayalam hit of the same name. It was directed by Nishikant Kamat. However, Drishyam 2 is directed by Abhishek Pathak who has taken over the reins for the sequel after Kamat’s death. The film also stars Ishita Dutta, Rajat Kapoor and Mrunal Jadhav. Drishyam 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series and Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak’s Panorama Studios and it will release in theatres on November 18.
