Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor is on cloud nine. Her son Ranbir Kapoor and daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt welcomed a baby girl on Sunday at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. Alia is yet to get discharged from the hospital. The doting new dadi in town Neetu has been visiting the hospital daily to be with her daughter-in-law and the newborn child.
On Monday, Neetu was clicked by the paparazzi outside her residence post her hospital visit. A paparazzo asked the veteran actress about Alia and her baby girl's health. With a bright smile on her face, Neetu said, "Fine. Absolutely fine." When a paparazzo asked what name has been decided for the baby, she told, "Abhi nahi."
On Sunday, Neetu had a quick chat with the paparazzi after returning from the hospital. Neetu gave an update on Alia's health and called the baby girl 'very cute'. When a paparazzo asked her, "Baby kispe gayi hai?," she replied, "Abhi chhoti hai, aaj hi hui hai. Toh abhi pata hai but she's very cute."
Calling their daughter 'a magical girl', Alia and Ranbir said in a statement, "And in the best news of our lives:-Our baby is here... and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love-blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!! love love love Alia and Ranbir (sic)."
