On Sunday, shockwaves were sent across the Bhojpuri industry. Akanksha Dubey, a 25-year-old actress, who made her debut with Meri Jung Mera Faisla, died by suicide. According to reports, she was found dead at a hotel in Varanasi. 

Reportedly, Akanksha was in Varanasi for the shoot of her upcoming project. Post-wrapping her work, she went to the Sarnath Hotel where she was found dead. The Uttar Pradesh police have initiated an investigation into the case.

The news of Akanksha's demise came on the day of her music video Ye Aara Kabhi Hara Nahi's release. She was paired with Pawan Singh. Hours before committing suicide, the young actress shared a dance video on her Instagram page.

Akanksha, a native of Bhadoi, was seen in films like Mujhse Shadi Karogi (Bhojpuri), Veeron Ke Veer, Fighter King and others. Reportedly, she was in a relationship with her co-star Samar Singh.
