PeepingMoon Exclusive: Tiger Shroff sets up three action movies for 2023!

Tiger Shroff is setting up an action-packed slate for the next year. Peepingmoon.com has learned that the young Bollywood star has lined up three films to shoot in 2023, in addition to Vikas Bahl’s Ganapath, which has already been finished and will be released in cinemas early next year. Tiger kicks off 2023 with Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (BMCM) and will follow it up with two more yet-to-be-announced action movies.

Bade Miyan Chote Miyan goes on floors in the first week of January 2023 and will be filmed majorly in foreign locations in London, Scotland, Alpha, and Saudi Arabia. It’s a buddy film that brings India’s two biggest action stars, Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, together on screen for the first time. The film has been billed as a culmination of action, drama, and comedy, backed by a subject which is very relevant and contemporary in today’s time. Both Akshay and Tiger have committed to 40-45 days for this project, and are expected to wrap it up by May 2023. Janhvi Kapoor has come on board to play the leading lady opposite Tiger, while the actress to be paired with Akshay is yet to be finalized.

Tiger is expected to start working on his long-in-the-making Rambo remake soon after finishing Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The Heropanti actor has been committed to this Sylvester Stallone classic’s Hindi remake since 2017, and it finally seems to be going into production next year. Desi Boyz and Dishoom director Rohit Dhawan will start pre-production for this film after he is done with Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada, which releases on Valentine’s Day weekend in 2023. However, the shooting schedule for this film is yet to be determined, so it is unclear whether Tiger will return to this project after BMCM or pursue another project. If the Rambo remake is pushed again, he will dive straight into Attack director Lakshya Raj Anand’s next.

Tiger has signed Lakshya’s film and is committed to starting it in June 2023. Rambo’s shooting timeline might alter this action-thriller’s schedule, but at present, the Lakshya Raj Aanand film is set to get off the ground in June in the UK. Tiger and Lakshya were earlier supposed to collaborate on a two-hero film, starting in August this year, but that didn’t materialize and now they are teaming up on a different project which stars Tiger as a solo lead. These three films aside, Tiger is also in talks with Harman Baweja for his next production venture, but that is at a very nascent stage of discussion at this moment. Stay tuned as we bring more updates on Tiger’s lineup soon!
