The sequel to Salman Khan's Bajrangi Bhaijaan is in the works. Veteran writer V. Vijayendra Prasad is currently working on the script of the film which is reportedly titled Pawan Putra Bhaijaan. Now, amid much excitement to see Salman returning to the franchise, people are curious to know whether Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be seen once again in the role of a journalist.
In an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon, Nawazuddin, who played the role of Chand Nawab, reacted to the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The actor clarified that he is yet to be approached for it. He told, "I have no idea about the sequel of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. I am not approached for it yet. If offered, let's see whether I wish to do it or not."
Nawazuddin's character Chand Nawab was Salman's Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi's ally who played an important role in reuniting Munni (Harshaali Malhotra) with her mother in Pakistan. His role is said to be inspired by a real-life Pakistani reporter with the same name.
