Remembering Satish Kaushik: Calendar, Pappu Pager to Muthuswami and Kunjbihari Lal, one actor many identities; revisiting some of his best characters

For almost 4 decades, Satish Kaushik entertained movie buffs with his impeccable acting skills. Born in Mahendragarh, Haryana, he received his primary acting education from the National School Of Drama, where he met Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta and several other actors. Dominating the genre of comedy over the years, he set the benchmark for the new generation high. He occupied a large and important space in the film industry and now, he has left it vacant forever.

Satish passed away at the age of 67 in Delhi after suffering a massive heart attack. The postmortem was done in Delhi’s Deen Dayal Upadhyay hospital. After the body is handed over to the family in Mumbai, he will be cremated. The funeral is expected to take place around 5 pm at the Versova Crematorium. Unfortunately, he's no longer among us but his body of work shall never be forgotten.
