On Monday, Satish Kaushik's family hosted a prayer meet for the actor at their residence in Mumbai. Survived by his wife Shashi and daughter Vanshika, the veteran actor passed away on March 9 in Gurgaon due to a massive heart attack. His friend Anupam Kher has been by Shashi and Vanshika's side since the tragic incident. 

Anupam, who was Satish's friend for almost 45 years, was by Shashi and Vanshika's side as they met those who paid their condolences to the late actor. Holding the 11-year-old's hand throughout, the veteran actor proved to be their strongest pillar of support through tough times.

The prayer meet was attended by celebrities like Javed Akhtar, Jackie Shroff, Vidya Balan, Boney Kapoor, Maniesh Paul, Pankaj Kapur, Supriya Pathak, Gulshan Grover, David Dhawan and Ramesh Taurani among several others.

Satish was last seen in the Disney+Hotstar show Pop Kaun.
